The Olsen twins ("Full House") return to ABC in a new family comedy about a protective, single dad, Kevin Burke (Christopher Sieber); Mary-Kate and Ashley, his two scheming pre-teen daughters; and a beautiful, quirky and opinionated college student, Carrie Moore (Sally Wheeler), who wants to be the girls' permanent baby-sitter.
Mary-Kate and Ashley are twin sisters who are complete opposites. Mary-Kate is a tomboy whose biggest interest is in perfecting her curveball; and Ashley is a straight-A student starting a boy-crazy stage. Caring for these whirlwinds is an ongoing problem, and Kevin, a science professor, sets out to find just the right person to watch over his rambunctious daughters after school. Enter Carrie, a 28-year-old freshman in Kevin's seminar, who has come late to college after exploring the world.
Carrie is attractive, eccentric, and quick to speak her mind, so when she answers Kevin's ad for a nanny, he's convinced she'll be nothing but trouble. The girls, however, think she's a dream-sitter come true and agree to join forces to try to make her a permanent part of their household.
Starring are Mary-Kate Olsen as Mary-Kate Burke, Ashley Olsen as Ashley Burke, Christopher Sieber as Kevin Burke and Sally Wheeler as Carrie Moore.
